Memorable Characters

Admiral Tom Boone, Ret.

We first meet Tom Boone, played by Terrence O'Quinn, in the pilot episode, although he's only a captain at that point. He's the C.A.G. - the Commander of the Air Group aboard the USS Seahawk. It turns out he's also an old friend of Harm's family. In fact, we learn that Tom Boone was Harm's dad's wingman the day he was shot down.

Clark Palmer

Clark Palmer, played by Peter Murnik, was one of the more memorable of JAG's bad guys.

Alexi, the Russian cab driver

Alexi, played by Allan Kohlman, ferried Mac all over Russia in search of Harm. He was insightful enough to see that, despite her denials, Mac had feelings for Harm.

Commander Flagler

Commander Flagler, played by Tom Amandes, was the skipper of the submarine, USS Watertown, where Harm and Mac were sent for an investigation. He, too, was very aware of the undercurrents between Harm and Mac.

Mark Falcon, aka Major Sokol

We first meet Mark Falcon, played by Rex Linn, in the season two episode 'Ghost Ship'. He's actually a Russian KGB agent who absconds with a notebook Harm found that listed the names of American POWs who were taken to Russia during the Vietnam War. We meet him several seasons later as the story of Harm's father gets wrapped up. He takes a liking to Mac from the beginning and is not immune to Harm's quest and ends up helping him. As a side note, Rex Linn made his JAG debut in the season one episode 'Shadow', playing the submarine skipper.

Detective Frank Coster

Detective Coster, played by Michael David Lally, becomes obsessed with Mac to the point of harming anyone he thinks she cares for, including Dalton Lowne, whom he kills. He eventually takes Mac hostage.
